So at this point, I don’t really have anything else to write about that pertains to politics unless I just want to piss people off, which is most definitely not my intention. Not only do I feel that 250 or 230 or however many words we’re supposed to have is a bit much for a blog, but I have no idea what to come up with that’s intelligent enough that people want to read it, or political enough to tie into my previous blogs. But I figured since I’m already losing credit for posting this one a day late, I’m just going to write about whatever I want, for lack of a better, more related subject.
So, I’ve never been a prose person, I’ve always really enjoyed poetry. And not just pretty poems about scenery and being in love, but rather really deep, intricate poems that no one else really understands. Thus, I have provided a poem for people’s reading pleasure, and don’t fret if you don’t quite get it, because I leave a lot to be determined.
Come close to me my dear,
you prayer to be enlightenedwon’t be heard in the years to come.
And everyday our redundant livesfall into a circled path;
and whisks us away to better days.
Come close to me, my dear,
Your withering death wisheswon’t disrupt you in the years to come.
And every night you pray for meto love you with all I have inside;
but you don’t know that I pray it too.
Come close to me, my dear,
my bliss that all but killed youwill be put to rest in the years to come.
And the blows of existence hit you with my shortcomings;
But don’t give up, just don’t give up.
Fall asleep in the pouring rain,
look for me when the light shatters all your dreams.
Your heart will beat out my name,
once deprived, the void will gasp for your breath.
--we still won’t understand.

That sounds like you either knowingly or unknowingly created a song. We could just add a chorus for a hook, and we would be rich. I say we because you are the talent and I am the exploiter.
I think it was a good move to put a poem up on your blog, not only to show your hobbies and talents, but this is a reason a blog is different than a research paper. You wouldn't put a poem in your research essay? I enjoyed reading you other posts because they were political and of course everyone has their own opinions, and it is fun to read what others think. However, this is enjoyable in a different sense. I can read any ol' blog such as my own one time and get the picture. A poem is an artsy statement that allows me to try and unlock the meaning and interpret what the two in the poem are going through. I can feel their pain, joy, frustration in four simple verses. After all my unlocking to figure out the meaning others might simple say "oh not it is not about that, it is about this..." that is the beauty of art and poetry. I liked the blog and thought it was a nice addition to your writings as a whole. And it goes along with your survey question well.
yeah, i was just tired of talking about that research paper! i've talked that topic to death, and it just doesnt interest me anymore.
yeah i suppose it is like a song...you could use the last stanza as a chorus maybe? but i dont know music...
and uhhh...hell yeah i'm down for us getting rich! hahaha
thank you very much.
